This is VERY SAD NEWS!!!! According to AllHipHop.Com, Lil Wayne may be headed to jail! First T.I. and now Lil Wayne???
Lil Wayne is forced to take a plea deal according to sources on today, October 22, 2009 to do a bid for 8 months for his alleged involvement with a loaded .40-caliber pistol gun found on his tour bus in 2007 while in New York.
The 27-year-old now faces 15 years in jail for each count of criminal weapons possession and criminal possession of a loaded weapon.
Lil Wayne will report to jail in February of 2010 according to sources who are familiar with the terms of the plea deal. A small amount of Wayne’s DNA found on the gun is what changed the circumstances and made the Grammy winning rap artist willing to accept a plea deal.
This is one story that we hope is a rumor! No music or no Lil Wayne for 8 months is a tragedy!
